ARBOX^® Strong is the most robust solution in Peikko’s lineup of rebar starters. It is an enhanced version of ARBOX^® Joint Reinforcement, Peikko's ready-to-install system designed for creating rigid concrete casting joints of reinforced concrete elements.

ARBOX^® Strong incorporates all the features and advantages of the standard ARBOX^® system, with the addition of an indented surface that is specified and designed according to Eurocode EN 1992-1-1, Section 6.2.5. This unique indented surface enables the effective transfer of extremely high longitudinal and transverse shear forces to the joint.

ARBOX^® Strong can be easily attached to formwork without the need for penetration or other adjustments. It is available in various dimensions and can be installed both longitudinally and transversally, making it highly suitable for creating diverse connections, including wall-to-wall, column-to-wall, and wall-to-slab connections.

The pre-bent rebars of ARBOX^® are securely concealed within a galvanized steel box and can be straightened as needed. This system not only enhances safety on construction sites but also enables rapid construction of connections in both cast-in-situ and precast structures.
